Wow, congrats to the guy. He did something many people would never even have the idea of atempting.

hehe , old news, guy in quebec tintin is his name if i recall... they actually have 3 of them, a turbo v6, that one and a race car v6 pro.
the turbo one made 330+hp... on conservative boost..

That's just a photochop, and a bad one at that.

I'm just kiddin'. Kudos to him.

I wonder how the car does with the extra weight in the schnoz.

The ideas been passed around for a while. Its a strait foward swap parts wise, its the v6 from the 626, which shared the FS. The hardest part is usually the wireing, in our engine swaps, as some members will tell you.

Its only like some 80 extra lbs. Bet its crazy fast though.

EDIT: just read the thread it seems to only be 60lbs heavier wtf?

yep, the nightmare is the wireing, other than that its a direct bolt in... and from what he domspun told me, you can scratch the tires in 3rd pretty hard..

that would be easier than the v6.. just alot more expensive... since they make this for our car already.. but only overseas..

That'd make for a nice MSP. Now we just have to figure out how to swap in an AWD drivetrain :P

No thanks. I don't want another car that I see every 2 blocks. I'd prefer to think out the box and feel that sense of accomplishment just looking at a car that underwent the knife :]

so around low to mid 30's, im sure you could throw some power updrades in the mix to for that amount. yeah you could just buy the other 2 but wouldnt this be the point of the conversion. SLEEPER OH........... YEAH!!!!! this is my holy grail

Sory for more details my English is not good :(

Domspun help me ;)
done.

All KLVE's are jspec.
We get the kl03, it would be a bit of an easier swap becuase of the cuved intake manifold. (the strait klve will not fit, but you can find a curved neck one)

All we really need is the miller cycle variant from the millenia and well be golden.

uhoh sounds like u guys are getting ideas i have a feeling well be seing more v6 pros now

naw.. that miller cycle crap isnt a good way to go.. that supercharger alon cost 2000 from mazda.. and doesnt really put out to much hp compaired to others.. the way that tv show went is the way to go,

all they needed was one of them to do it.. to prove that its possible.... next thing u know a vendor is gonna make a wireing harness for it... (headbang)
