V6 for p5?!?!?!?

Man dont touch under tha dash, just yank the harness out, and put the v6 one in, and hookup the v6 ecu.

I really want a direct feel, it's a race car after all! Almost nobody can drive my car as it is right now! lol

I expect to have everything finish and perfectly running before the Canadian National Solosprint at Shannonville, Ontario, on september 9-10-11th

It is planned, but not before I get my port&polish heads/IM, race cams, bore TB!

Mmmm... that's an option, but my plan was to make a pulley holder out of it! Why did thay put the water pump on the same belt as the P/S! (hand) lol

ahh i guess u oculd make a pulley holder out of it.

But as long as u got an probe Gt for a parts car u should be ready to go..honestly

haha, i about to start electronic technology at a tech school , plus i am already a part time mechanic workin for my dad, so i have all the resources i need to do this swap, just finding out more info on it, i am pullin the ecu pinouts on both tommorow, ill post them here...

whoa looks like you got me beat (2thumbs)

but then again....i already know how to put a V6 into both my cars (naughty) muhahahahaha!

3rd gen ppl. always a step behind. lol j/k

If you like firm brakes, you should try out my car. ;) 929 MC, stainless brake lines, really grabby pads, with MSP front brakes and 6 rear brakes, with a brake reservior. An S4 owner headbutted my steering wheel when trying to drive my car. Or rather, trying to stop the car, since he didn't expect it to grab all the way up like it does.

Manual brakes, though. =) That'll save you some weight, for sure, and if you get those pedal assemblies, then you'll have a nice, rock hard feel, I'm sure!

if you were really crazy, you could run a rear mount turbo (by the muffler) and route that back and have it supercharged too.

a KL-ZE-ST sounds like alot of fun....asuming you had rims/tires/lsd that could get it to move and not just burn a hole in the ground.

i think someone on car domain did that, and ran like 10's or something like that (wow)

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=pageHeading vAlign=top>KL-ZE V6 2.5 Liter JDM Engine Swap</TD><TD class=pageHeading vAlign=top align=right>$1,235.00</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

They sell it on protegegarage.com

or the KL-ZE superchaged millenia motor. Good ol' miller cycle. Not too much to do this swap folks so don't lose your minds on it as if it's something new at all. The only drawback is you have to live in an area w/o emissions.

The milleniaS motor isnt 2.5KLZE it is 2.3L KJ(i think thats the code) motor, u might be better of just using the DE or the ZE. its doable but it will be very hard to source out one for parts etc.

you have ac sensors in the dash in the evaporator core, they run off the engine harness, lookin at it today on all data, i dont see why the v6 ecu couldnt run it, but i was also looking at a 99 626 mt specs, dunno about ob1 setup... but i figure try to get closest to my year and most of the stuff will be the same... electronically

dunno, didnt look at them, didnt have time, ill look at the wiring diagram tommorow in a 97 mx6, whats the last year they made the PGT

Thats why u will have to use the PGT/MX6 wiring Harness, b/c it has 3 - 4 extra connectors. Which is why i couldnt use it on my car. When i was comparing it to the mx3 6 harness it had atleast 4 extra connections on it.

The chances of u finding a manual 626 is slim regardless, especially a 99. I have access to a 98 626 v6 mT, but its all parted out already. I higly doubt that the harness is changed that much from 97 - 99.
