The driver's side stock nozzle on my P5 shoots the stream that's right in front of the steering wheel fairly low on the windshield. I've tried adjusting it with a paper clip and a pick but it just doesn't want to move. At some point I'll replace the nozzle. That low stream isn't ideal for cleaning the window but it does have the advantage that I can see over the stream point, so it does not obscure my vision while it is firing. This makes me wonder, was the low stream intentional? That is, is it just my P5 or are they supposed to be like that?

pasadena - the individual 'nozzles' do move, but sometimes they are kind of sticky at first. keep trying and they should move eventually.
that being said, prob in the next month i'll be getting the tribute nozzles - i HATE fighting with mine, trying to aim them. too high, too low, too far inside... it's NOT worth it anymore. plus, the mist is much better imho.
i haven't checked back at earlier posts, but what's the easiest way to remove the stock ones and replace with the new ones? from under the hood (ie, removing the heatshield), or on top of the hood? i know i read about someone grabbing from the top with pliers, but knowing me if i do that, i'm sure to scratch or chip the paint...

go from under the hood, and you don't have to touch the "heat" shielding. get a 10mm deep socket, and push it up around from underneath the nozzle, and the nozzle should then pop right out. (thats how the shop manual describes it)
njaremka, diehonda - thanks! when i get mine, i'll be sure to try that. though, seeing as i'm only 5'1", i think i may have to ask someone taller than i if they will swap them out for me, lol don't think i'll be able to reach the middle of the hood while it's open...

I could use this. On one of the streams on the passenger side nozzel shoots up and over my windshield.

Seriously though, I may have dreamed it now that I searched a little. I could have sworn that I read on another thread that someone tried the 3 nozzles and they are not a direct replacement. If they work, sweet. I was trying to save you some $, but my memory sucks anyway so go for it!

haha, not to hard to do! i recently umm lost one of mine in an unfortunate snow cleaning off accident. So when i was putting the new one on, i remembered about the ones that spray ppl. and all you have to do is open ur hood, sorta pull back the bonnet (fire preventive stuff) and finde ur washer nozzels, the kinda/pull screw out and just put it in backwards, it doesnt really sit that flat on the hood due to the conture and stuff, and it don't really shoot too far past the hood, about 3 feet only due to pressure, but anywho it sure was fun to spray my friends for a week or two!
