The fan in my 2002 Tribute does not work on the 1st speed. It does work on speeds 2, 3 and 4. I've replaced both the blower motor resistor and fan speed switch. Is it possible that the blower motor won't work on the low speed? I thought it was a on/off thing. i.e. I thought its speed was dictated by the voltage presented to it, and that was dictated by the resistor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
