unichip still not wrking?

so this is the 3rd uni chip we have tryed in my car and it only allows the car to spike at 7 and rest at 6 psi where it should be at 13 and 12,,,, we checked every thing on the car that could be a potential problems, like hot and cold pipes, the lines, the colanoid ( i dono how to spell it) but we belive my head gasget it blown, could this be a reason y it is not boosting to where it should. i had a boost contoller on the car b4 and it allowed it to run at 11 psi, the car is now in the dealership to get the head gasket replaced,, under warrenty.. but if you guys have any ideas what the problem could be pls post

Not sure if you removed all of your mods or not. But, if you did not, I doubt you'll get any warranty coverage. There are a bunch of warranty voiders on your mod list...

the fcd is out and so is the boost contorller, and the unichip is hiddin

What about FMIC, BOV, CAI, exhaust, etc. I've seen warranties be voided for much, much less. Also, in regards to the unichip, if the dealership runs a thorough diagnostic, using freeze frame and real time data, they will be able to see that a/f ratio and timing have been altered. Your tuner didn't fix it? Did you check if you had the switches on?

I had the same problem. I'm also on my 3rd unichip. The 1st ran great for a few months then started causing alot of a/f problems so i sent it back and got a new one, which ran fine except it boosted no more than 7 psi. I sent that one back and got a new one which worked perfect for the first couple of months then i started having the same problems i did with the first one. Honestly, I bet you just have a bad unichip. Call them and talk to them about it. They will probably just exchange it. As for the a/f problems ive had, im assuming its just the ecu relearning over the unichip and screwing it up, but i dont know for sure.
