haha i know for real man!!!!!!!
idk, thas why ima post a vid. its def not a rod kock!! had that happened to me before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoytslvIEZM
that was my old engine.
it could be rattling idk. ill def post a vid along with the flickering oil light

aight, but do me a favor and look behind your block under the intake mani to see if the oil pressure sensor connection is loose
that could be a reason the oil light comes on

other then that the only other thing i could think of is your oil pickup screen may be clogged with junk
you got the motor from scratch right? where did he get it from?

ill check that in da morn, too cold now haha, but it doesnt come on fully, it flickers like its goin to come on then wen i rev up, it goes away. and oil pick up screen? wheres that? yea i got the motor from scratch and that was the original motor that came out his p5 with supposedly 50k miles on it

the oil pickup screen is inside the oil pan,its like a little filter so you dont suck s*** into your oil lines and stuff like that

ive seen some pics where that whole thing was clogged with s***, all you have to do is take your oil pan off and youll see what im talkin about

hey i helped get those studs out lol

and my spicy buddy says you may need a new sensor. that would explain the flickering light. and as far as the knock he explain something to me but ill let you call me and ill explain. its a lot to type.

and justanothermp5 im glad you made it back to charlotte fine. there was a s*** ton more snow in spartanburg lol

yea u got them out and then i had to get the nuts off (lol)

but yea i know it was crazy when i was leaving already
guess what happened when i was drivin in that snow, it freakin ripped out my AEM wideband sensor wire and it was dragging on the ground the whole way back :(
so i had to order a new wire, it was only 15 bucks though

low car ftl lol

that knock... i wanna know what it was too... i changed out a motor because im almost dead certial it was rod knock... but when i pulled it apart everything was there.. bearings and all... but it was a HORRIBLE knock... hell i was able to pimp my car home 5 miles sounding like that... but..... i never did figure it out... just changed it out

I had a nasty clunking noise from my motor before, ended up being the timing belt tensioner.

do you by anychance have a vid of it? i know ill said that ill make a vid of the knockin noise but its too dark now, ill try and do it tommoro
but i got a vid of the oil light so yall can see what i see, ill post it up after i eat dinner :)
so hungry and just got of work too

OK, yuou have like 4 basic choices , either you have a broken push rod and bearings. your piston could be crached, your roller rockers could be broken,
theres a few things that could be wrong, i suggest not starting it anymore, take it into your garage pull the engine and take off your intake so you can see your pistons , if theres no problem there take of your headers so you can see your push rods, there may be 2 or 3 broken rods, get them replaced asap

^^^

thats what some guy said on youtube lol

update: ok i have a vid of the oil light but i also found this
