UFC 71 Liddell vs Jackson

I love Chuck Liddell and would enjoy seeing him redeem his 3rd and final career loss from the past. Only thing is, Jackson looks like he's going to be a tough match. The guy is a beast and his face looks like it could take a punch or 100...

i will be ordering it......but my girlfriend loves UFC & Liddell....so its in my best interest to route for the win....so i get to wrestle later...lol.

Liddell FTW, he is the best thing to happen to UFC since Zuffa took over.

Liddell is the best striker and his ground defense is quite good, if you can get him down at all. If Jackson gets hold of him, he can slam him around and do some damage, but Liddell is 10X's the fighter he was when they last fought. I've seen Jackson lose three times and win twice on PRIDE fighting, and while he is impressive, he is just a taste of what will come at Liddell and the UFC from PRIDE. They have just merged and the floodgates will open with "Cro Cop", Silva, and the baddest all around fighter EVER Fedor Emilienco. Fedor is the only one I think that can take Liddell, but that is what is great is that every fighter has a chance to prove they are better for at least that day. I want Liddell to retain his title til Emilienco can take a shot at him. That would be an INSANE fight.

i was watching tv last night and they had the liddell vs jackson fight where liddell lost. wow, that match was amazing. jackson really over powered liddell in the first few rounds. i dunno, it's a toss up, but i think liddell really wants to redeem himself, so i'm going to say liddell.

yeah, i saw that too and aggree. Im absolutely rooting for Liddell, and like others said, he's at the best of his game now as opposed to when he first fought Jackson. But Jackson is one tough looking b**** lol

I am rooting for Rampage, gotta go with the fellow Tennesseean. I think Liddell will probably win this fight though, the way he has been fighting lately I just don't see him losing until he fights Shogun. It's not going to be an upset either way though and this is definately one of the more competitive matches we will see with Liddell.

I'd love to see The Junkyard Dog toss over Rampage's chain while the ref has his back turned. Rampage can split open Liddells big fat head and pin him for the three count.

All jokes aside I would love to see Rampage win this one. I typically like to see the underdog win. Rampage did beat the s*** out of Liddell BUT it was a fight that he was not properly trained for. What most people don't know is that Liddell wasnt booked for that fight. Dana asked him to step in after the original UFC fighter couldnt make it. There is also a big difference between 10 min and 3 minute rounds. It's tough to say but it ought to be a barn burner.

Did yall see the last fight with those two? I watched them at Apoc's house. Quinton whooped the s*** outta Liddel. He was just to technical, and fast for Liddel. He may look like a gangsta with all the jewelry, and what not, but when he steps in the ring, all that s*** comes off, and he gets serious.

Rampage via whooping Chuck's ass.

There were lots of disappointed faces at the bar tonight. Besides myself and the five other guys I was with it didn't seem like many people were rooting for Rampage. Considering he is a Memphis native I found that suprising, I honestly think just not enough people knew about him in Pride.
