Turning off TCS?

Tried it and it doesn't seem to help much. That or DSC doesn't like wheel spin in corners and cuts power. (shrug)

Ur correct, holding the button turns the TCS on for good and you can't turn off traction control until u turn ur car off. I tried both methods on a wet road. Clicking the TCS button gives u nice wheel spin until 20mph, holding the button turns on traction control for good telling u not to F**K w/ it.

I might have to invent a relay or switch that as soon I go below 18mph the TCS turns off automatic. it should not be difficult to invent something like that. I want to spins my tires and have all the power I can get from my turbo engine (headbang)

So you really can't turn off that DSC? Winter is comming so i would like to have some fun with the awd system in a parking lot full of snow :D and that DSC that doesen't go off depresses me (boom01)

I have disabled all control assists including ABS by removing 40 and 20 amp fuzes from the fuze box under the hood. The car feels much more sporty after that. It accelerates faster and I got better control over it. Originally I made it for drifting purpose. However, I still have not returned the fuzes back since I am in love with the new feeling of driving it. I have made a video with drifting my CX-7 without control assists.

Why would anyone bother to turn it off? We're not drag racers, are we? If I want a car to have an ass-kicking launch, I would have bought something else. Well, nice input though.

TCS kills the ability to drift it in snow. I usually take off 40 and 20 amps fuzes that disables all control assists.
