Turbo Rotary Mazda B2600i Minitruck Build!

it doesnt fit so well right out of the box, but with a little coaxing, i think itll be just fine!

Happy one day late b'day. Better late than never? Still looking from tue sidelines on this build. Gotta keep me reading somehow. Read Lewis7789s thread. All these different motors. The things I plan to do when I get my car but mostly I enjoy watching others progress. Always a nice occurrence when you guys get a successful build together. Can't wait to see the end result, as I said previously me thinks!

all snapped into place. now comes the fun part of mounting it and the intercooler and possibly making the opening in the bumper a tad bit larger...

loving the shirt Greyson! thanks buddy!

i have also been looking into buying a spool gun for my welder so i can weld aluminum so i dont have to find someone to tig weld all my piping again... it would just be easier to tack it together to make sure eveything fits instead of fully welding it and bringing it home and it not fitting and having to cut it again.

theyre kinda expensive though, and i hear theyre really hard to use, but i might go talk to my welding supply company today and see what they have to say about them...

I have a spool gun for my welder, I haven't messed with aluminum yet, but it makes working with Steel alot smoother as well! I only paid $230 for the gun that fit my welder... so I's imagine they are around that price for yours.
As for aluminum, it shrinks really easily, so welding it can be a pain in the ass! But i'm sure with some pieces of scrap to practice with you could catch on pretty quickly!

Most of the spool guns I've seen were over twice what I paid for my welder, ie. 1k+. I've heard of guys getting a second gun and a short 6-8 foot lead and using a teflon liner and still running it on the internal wirefeeder with acceptable results for a lot cheaper. Of course just buying a TIG is the most baller solution! :D
