Its enough parts to be atleast as expensive as a turbo kit given you have to buy it from a dealer.
It would be an extream wast of money considering how small the turbo is. Also without the MSP PCM it becomes very pointless.

Turbo, downpipe, intake piping (several peices), intercooler, hoses and connections for turbo water and oil feeds, hoses and fittings for turbo oil and water drains, the parts to give the turbo watter and oil on the engine side, the PCM, bolts and fastener, clamps, and mouting brakets.

Every kit for the 3rd gen protege will fit your car too, being a DX doesn't matter.

Flyin Protege
Spoolin ITS
Hi Boost
Modern Perfomance
Wagnor

i would just buy an aftermarket kit which will be about the same price as the factory one but have the potential to produce much more power.

so i can buy ne turbo kit for a protege, year 2000 and up (even from a protege5) and it will fit in my car???

Every protege since the 2001 MP3 and the rest from 2002 to now will all fit the same kits, even the mazdaspeed. They are all the same in the engine bay. Only thing that will stop a kit from fitting is an auto tranny and many kits can work around that too.

Did the dealerships drop the VIN restriction on getting the MSP manifold or what?

The dealership will **** you on parts costs, and last I remeber the exhaust manifold was a VIN part swap only...And the VIN had to be an MSP VIN.

I have the Flyin' Protege kit. It is awesome.

Spoolin's kits are reported to be good, and same with HiBoost.

Take a pick and run with it. It'll fit.

with some kits you might have an issue with intercooler fitment b/c of your different front bumper.
