***Turbo Performance Works Piggy Back Info***

Where are the RESULTS??

So... I thought the kit was supposed to be done like a month ago. Is there another thread for the results?? Looks like another "Mazdaspeed" release, and you guys were giving Mazda so much hell for taking their time to release the Speed. I guess its a common problem in this business.

Just waiting to see someones results and improvements that were made as far as the hestitation issues, etc. Would be cool to see a screenshot of the tuner software as well.

Thanks,

-Six

Dude, whats your problem?! Techinically his kit is out, but just hasn't been dyno'd yet. Calm down and wait just like everyone else...

micahs car will be completed and tuned by spools meet. you will see it then. Perfworks also has a few MSP owners that he is talking to about tuning them up with the piggyback. The piggyback and turbo kits ARE AVAILABLE for sale.

(nuts)......really, calm your ass down....the kit has been out, gots to be tuned to get pimp results from dyno....

Whoaaa boys. I didn't mean to step on anybody's toes here. I had a geniune question about the results and then just stated some facts. Perhaps it's just that I'm not as patient as the rest of you, so once again, I'm sorry.

i am interested in this product, but for NA setup right now. If i get this program for NA and then switch over to forced induction will it be a hassle?

UPDATE

Hello all,
Sorry i havent been around much. There have been very long days at the shop trying to finish various projects. Micahs car is 90% done. We will be fabricating a new intake today along with final oil and vacuum line connections. Our extra injector set up will also be installed . His car should be running by today and dynod in a couple of days, when the schedule clears up some.
As far as the piggy goes. The unit is working great. There have been many revisions on the software and the applications to the vehicles. I will answer all your questions that i can on this forum but your BEST BET IS TO CONTACT ME. Call me anytime at the shop. (732) 222-3679. For anyone concerned with long distance charges, You can PM me with your contact info and i will be more than happy to contact you via phone. Every application is different and we have to tune the specific piggy on what is needed for the individual. Some will need additional injectors and some will not. Many people who have purchased kits already will be posting their results and findings once they install the items. Again thank you for your patience. Sorry fot the delay all this time but i wanted to provide a good product.

Anyone that gets one of these that can put up some screenshots of the software would be much appreciated. As well as a report on how much of a improvement to the standard issues, was made.

Thanks,

-Six

I am planning on going up to Andy's shop in the middle of August (I will be at VIR on Aug 2/3 at a driving school). He currently has Paul's car and was wondering if and when a unit will be ready for both our cars. Thanks for keeping me in the loop.

Has anyone out there bought and installed this piggy back on an MSP?

What are your impressions of it?
Does it stop the hesitation?
Was it an easy install?

Yes, please, I am ready to buy one, but am waiting for some feedback from others. So far I havent seen anything.

I have some news to deliver:

Sadly Perfworks recently lost a family member. He has spent alot of time with his family at the hospital. I was speaking with him today on the phone, and he wishes to spend time with his family. His father operates his own business, and Nick (perfworks) would like to join his father.

Nick (perfworks)is a good friend of mine, and I will remain in constant contact with him for forum members who need to ask him a question. However, he will be turning the business over to www.modernperformanceinc.com , which is run by Nick M.

You can visit the site to see a limited sampling of his work. KzA will be updating the site shortly, with updated pages for both Protege's and some more existing services which are provided by the shop, but not yet mentioned (Porsche, Audi, Mustang, Harley Davidson, Classic, etc.). Nick operates a full machine shop, and in the time I have been there for my own kits install, I have been constantly impressed. Nick has a great eye for detail, as well as the needed intuition to diagnose problems quickly and correctly.

The kit for Auto's is all but finished. We have been road tuning for the past 2 weeks, and have finally nailed things down to where they should be. A few members of the forum have been asking for screenshots of what the program looks like used for tuning the piggyback with a computer. Nick will be sending a screenshot to me in email, and I will post it on the new thread.

As Perfworks has asked me to, I will represent the online sales for the kit, any questions about the kit, may be directed to me via PM's. I have created a new email address - turbomicah at aol dot com. I'd prefer that any questions be first submitted to me as a PM, but I understand that people are going to want to have an email address for me.

I will be posting this on both of Perfworks threads, and I am starting a new thread

=-=-=-=-Modern Performance Inc. Turbo Kit-=-=-=-=

Nick (perfworks) put a lot of time and effort into this kit, and I intend to do the same. As most of you know, I am not a mechanic. I'm a network admin. However, I am very hands on with my cars, and always have been. Working with both Nicks at the shop has been alot of fun. I'll continue learning as I go. Any questions you have about the kit can be directed to me, as well as any questions about the piggyback, turbo performance, etc. If I do not know the answer, I will consult with Nick M. and relay the information to you. Feel free to email me questions, but I would prefer all questions be submitted in the thread, so that others may have their questions answered as well.
