youre the man, soo........when do you think you will have these babies ready in hand to ship and sell??? i can give you all the info right now that i have on my car, just to give you a head start on my maps

Do you still have stock internals?
What size intercooler? measure it and give me specs (height, width, length and inlet and outlet diameters)
What will be max boost you are going to run?
What type of gas do you have there?
Stock injectors?
Stock intake?
And what kind of exhaust.

i think 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" inlet and outlet, not sure, ill check
What will be max boost you are going to run? hopefully 10-15lbs more towards the 10-12lb range

i have a full 2 1/2" piping, one resonator, apex exhaust, no cats
thanks...i will be looking forward to this...anyway i'm tracking my pr5 at summit on the 21/22 so will get some good seat time with my car on low boost with the voltage clamp...then i will have the car to the track several other times this year and report the difference between the unitsperfworks said:

ok the 4cyl mx6 and probe had governers which kicked in at 119. i am still unclear as to whether or not this will illeviate the problem. also can i be the guinee pig for the 4cyl probes, mx6's

The govenor can be raised , not eliminated i believe. I will check on that on monday. as far as bieng the guinee pig, i have no problem with it but we woould like to do the work in our shop in NJ. If you would like to get me some info OR PM me then we can talk about it further. BTW, do you know what controls the fuel cut on the 1RST generation turbo probe and mx6's? Is it the VAF or a series of sensor inputs?mrwizard9k said:

so did you hit the speed gov on the p5 too perf??? just wondering if you did, and if so, how do you think the piggy back would help to eliviate this problem....keep us informed man!!! me and dave are just waiting for this aspect of the piggy back, if it takes away that "gov/fuel cut", im definetly in!! thanks

but if it is some kind a fuel cut like your saying ( AND IT IS ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED. NOT LACK OF FUEL AKA NOT ENOUGH OUTPUT FROM THE PUMP) then the piggy can take care of it. remember we are controlling the fuel and ignition so if they are related, no problem.

Ok I like the sound of this piggy back for my MSP. Couple of quick questions, I've never really messed around with heavy tuning of this sort, is it gonna be easy to read and adjust so if I do start messing around with stuff I don't screw anything up to badly? Also is it going to include just a basic MAP incase I were to start chaging stuff I could always revert back to the orginal MAP that came with the program? Final question, is this going to help get rid of the studder associated with the MSP, I read that your tuning it on Joe's car, and I know he's got his FPR which is suppose to help with it, and he's coming out with another similiar type piggy back that isn't as customizable as yours but is also suppose to help with the studder. Just trying to see what would be better for me, to buy all of joe's stuff for my car, or to just get this completely programable system and go from there?

first off let me comment that joe p and i have two different systems we are working on. his is a mechanically based fix and mine is a complete electronic fix.
He will though be marketing the product for my company because of the extentsive time and effort he has put into this vehicle. He is a good freind and very knowledgable in this field.
So lets get back to the questions.
This system is very easy to "tune"
I will provide a basic map for the MSP ignition and fuel. It will work on the stock setup. Stock injectors and pump> I have not fully finished discussing it with joe but he is willing to go to 15psi tuning on the car to max out the injectors and provide the community with the basic fuel and ignition map that will allow safe operation. If you feel the need to do additional mods in the future then we can send you additional software with preprogrammed values via web site support or you can speak with me over the phone and i can guide you in the right direction till you get the hang of it. We will provide detailed instructions on wiring with photos and basic tuning instructions that when mastered can be implemented to increasing performance when additional mods are installed . Like a different intercooler, upgraded injectors , inline pump, rising rate regulator , larger turbo, ETC.
the basic map will never be lost in the system and while you may decide to play or tinker with the system, all you have to do is upload your file just as easy as you would a file on your home PC.
The system will cure the fuel cut and stuttering problems across the rpm range. Open loop and closed. WOT and Partial.
you will have complete control for the fuel and ignition process. Dont forget that once the unit is installed all you have to do is drive.
It will come preprogramed and can be adjusted if you so chose. It datalogs so if you are experiencing any problems then you can either send me the file and i adjust your maps or i can teach you to do the same.
very simple once you get used to it. youll get addicted.

yeah i am gonna get a palm and would like to tune with that. it kinda gets 2 birds with one stone. i can use the palm to take notes in college and tune my car. that way i don't have to buy like a 2 grand laptop.
