In an attempt to broaden our market, PSI TURBO PERFORMANCE is conducting research to determine the demand for a turbo kit for the Protg/MP3/3rd Gen.. We are interested in developing a reliable, affordable, and competitive kit for the 2.0ltr. models. Our proven and perfected Subaru kits have been a hit with the Subaru aftermarket for the last 4 years and we are ready to expand and utilize our skills and services as experts in the field of turbocharging to unlock the true potential of the Protg/MP3/3rd Gen. If you are serious about turbocharging your naturally aspirated Protg/MP3/3rd Gen., please respond to this thread with the following info:

1) Are you ready to buy a kit the moment it is released, or would you be interested in buying a kit in a few months?
2) What are your expectations/numbers?

If there is enough interest in the turbo kit, we will need a test car. If you are willing to offer your car as the test car, here are the requirements that you must meet:


-You only have to purchase the parts needed to complete the kit at OUR COST.
-LABOR AND INSTALLATION IS FREE.
-Make the drive to PSI TURBO PERFORMANCE located in Debary, FL.
-Allow 2 weeks to a month for us to complete the install and proper tuning.

I am interested in buying the kit once it is proven and tested. BUt what would the "cost" of the kit be? Also, capablilty with an auto would be nice. Also, I am looking for a complete kit, guages etc. and all, with customization if necessary. I would be looking as a daily driver, to be at about 160 - 180whp at about 5psi.

I think you can have too many. We've got: HiBoost, Flyin' Protege, MPI, Wagner, Essential Speed, old SPOOL's. The demand just isn't high enough for an all out turbo/price competition, as these companies need to cover the EXPENSIVE RnD.

roger but all those compaines are well past the RnD, and you might as well not even mention spool. if you lower the price the demand will go up. each company may not make as much, but will sell more units.

what they said was actually kinda funny if you think about it. they said there was already three turbo kits out...yea i bet there is less than three turbo kits for the WRX sounds like a cop out to me.
