turbo inlet install troubles

Hey guys im trying to install my CPE turbo inlet and there is a black bracket that sticks up vertically underneath the bend of the inlet (where it bends left into the turbo). I have an 07 model and after see'ing bova's how to I think that the 07's have this bracket while the older models don't. Anyway the bracket can't be removed so im lost. Any help ?? thx

Yeah i got it off thanks. The 07 models have many brackets that the 06's dont have. Very difficult bolt to get off but i managed. PITA to say the least. Thats 3 times where brackets not mentioned anywhere on intructions / forums have turned a 40 min job into a 3 hour job.

The main point I got stuck on was the wire harness attached to the underside of the battery tray. It took me a few minutes to get the wire loom holder off the tray, and I left it disconnected.

I think there are 2 or 3 brackets in my inlet box at the moment. IIRC, bova had the speedie6 inlet before the Cobb one, so much of his install was done previously, in terms of removing stock 'problem' parts.

encountered another problem. The CPE inlet comes with that metal flange adaptor that sits between the intake and the inlet. It makes the intake a little bit longer which means that the bracket that holds the intake in place no longer lines up with the bolt. Anyone else encounter this ?
