trouble shifting into gear

I do remember a post on here about this being a stuck bushing in the shift linkage or something like that. I can't seem to find it, if anyone knows what I'm talking about please link it! I am changing my struts today and would like to try this out while the car is in the air.

If its creaking at the pedal it's the master slave if it's at the transmission it's the slave if it's creaking in the transmission it's the throw out bearing
