WE can no longer laugh at the GTR emblem on a Mustang...THERE REALLY IS A GTR MUSTANG.

Maybe Ford will adopt a rotary design from Mazda for Mustangs...that the day I become Hugh Hefner long lost son.

Mazda adopted the idea from a German named Felix Wankel, the inventer of the first Rotary Combustion Engine. So Ford would be adopting the idea that Mazda and other car makers already have, from Felix.

From what I believe and read on the RX7 boards is that Felix wasnt the 1st to invent the ideal...just patented it. And NSU was the 1st to us Felix's rotary combustion design...later adopted by Mazda. I think that how it goes. I would read up on it at RX7 forums...learned alot of things I didnt know about Felix Wankel and Rotary engines.

My statement about Ford taking up rotary is a joke...we all know Mazda is technically part of Ford Motor company. We all know the rotary dream is "dead" ...Mazda is the one that kept up with it through the 80s (fuel embargos) and 90s and now in the new centrury with Hydrogen powered Rotary. Long live MAzda!
