tranny swap

i have a 01 es 2.0 a\t i wana swap the tranny out for a m\t is it even worth the time?....n if so would a probe tranny b good 4 it?

gonna take alot fo parts to do it this weekend im swaping my friends car and im gonna make a how to for the forums. you gonna need the transmission,axles, motor mounts, shift linkage,shifter,slave cylinder, clutch and brake pedals, clutch lines, manual transmission ecu......as for your question im not sure if the prob transmission has the right speed sensors. i would look for one out of a newer model 626

the sensors have different plugs and different numbers of wires on the harness, not making it an easy splice. found that the hard way tonight while working on my swap ):
