yeah, but the deal he's talking about will NOT have the balance of the old car transfered. I have NEVER jumped into a deal that transfered money over onto the loan, and I don't plan to. If he can't get me what I want, I wont take the damned deal and i'll look into refinancing. We bank with the credit union, if we could've gotten better, we would have. And the military wont give me a better interest rate.. again, if we could, we would have. I'm not some stupid teenager trying to buy his first car...
For you idiots that need an explanation of why I bought my wife a civic: She was driving an 01 focus that was in dire need of an alignment, new brakes (full rotor and drum replacement), two new tires, new belts/hoses, new power/ground wires (damn factory defects), and we still couldn't figure out why the engine keeps stalling... not to mention it wasn't under warranty. I'd rather her be in a Civic with a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty than in a maintenance moneypit.
Any other 'You're an idiot' comments that need clarification for the idiots who ask?
yesiownaskyline: i'm not saying you are an idiot. i'm just saying you and everybody is discrediting me thinking i'm not researching everything... It's really quite insulting. The point of this thread was to see who thought it was a good idea and who didn't and get some discussion on it. Is that too much to ask, or do I have to now assume everybody on the internet is out to flame me for wanting to sort out a few financial issues and get into something i'll enjoy more...
