just curious... when do you guys turn it off? i only turn it off when racing straight away! (laugh)

I turn it off when I launch or do runs against my friends. I believe the TCS helps reduce excess wheel spin when you hit up turns.

It does. I turned off my TC a couple turns during my recent trip to the Tail of the Dragon (318 turns in 11 miles) and all it did coming out of a corner was spin......a lot!(inout)

I feel that when I race someone it robs me of power, so i turn it off when racing or when i wanna go fast :)

lol so i guess everyone is just using that for racing!

Turning it OFF for racing. Leaving it on other times. It will save your butt, and maybe that of others out there like us, if you do something stupid at high speeds or in the wet, so leave it on when not launching hard. The life you say may be . . . mine!

I only turn it off when I really want to take off hard in a straight line. Otherwise it's on all the time.

turn it off everytime i get in the car. but turn it on when its wet out

it's almost always on. the only time it gets turned off is for hard take-off's and "spirited" driving

Just like most other people who have posted, I feel like I have more traction when launching hard, or even from a roll it feels faster (might just be me). I leave it on most of the time though, just in case I need it to save my ass

For DD it will be on. I'll only shut it down if I'm driving hard, properly concentrated and in the right place. Otherwise it will be on.

Like others have stated, it may save my butt that day when I mistake on the road, and it would be kinda stupid to have a technology that was designed to help you and not use it.

are we talking about dcs? if so, i used to drive with it off every time i got in the car.
now that i've disabled the steering wheel angle sensor, i'm 50/50 with the dcs.

by the way, dcs ≠ tcs

How did you disable the sensor? Does that mean no limiter when the steering wheel is turned?

1. take off the 3 screws that hold the bottom of the steering wheel cover on.
2. pull down
3. ????????????????
4. profit

It actually comes in handy when you hit a lot of snow, disengage and both FW pull, with it engaged you will never get out of any snow.

I'n my case I was talking about both.

+1 Actually the manual recommends that, if I'm not mistaken.
