Cylinder Deactivation Oil Control Solenoid location?

Have tried search and I don't think this has been asked....

Does anyone know where the Cylinder Deactivation oil control solenoid is located on 2018+ NA 2.5l Sky-G CX5's with "M" for VIN 8th character?

And while I'm at it: has anyone disconnected the solenoid to disable engagement of CD? Is it a viable way to do it? Does it throw codes, light the CEL, put it in limp mode or anything else weird like that?

How did you make out? i wonder if its cylinder 1/4 that are used on that year...i was told it will throw a code but thats it-never tried on mine cause its under warranty
