Track Day Report-Cobb RSB-Barone SP-Catch Can

Last weekend my MS3 spent 3 hours total on the track. It was the second run with the Cobb RSB , Barone SP, and catch can installed. Brief report of the results.

The RSB to an otherwise stock suspension made a measurable difference in the handling. At speed (100 mph tops at this track) the MS3 was noticeably more stable, not as much float and squirm. In the turns the stiffer bar seemed to allow faster entry and I was able to get back onto the gas much earlier. Understeer was still present, but less a factor than stock suspension. Overall good addition.

The Barone SP was flawless, no issues at all. FYI, I have the modification in place.

The catch can was installed week before the event. Day after I drained the can and found about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of what I would call 2/3 gas, 1/3 oil mixture. You could tell it had an oil component but was mostly raw gas. I was shocked at that volume for only week of driving and the track event. I know our car runs rich, and the track was WOT most of the time, still I did not expect that much volume and expected more of a oil component.

Just a post to relay my experiences.
