Tire Opinions

I've been looking at tires for a while and have it narrowed to either the yokohama avid h4s or the continental contiextremecontact. The size is 215/40 17 mounted on 17x7.5 +45 offset wheels.

Anyone have experience with either of these tires or any other suggestions?

Yea, I go to school in Blacksburg, VA where we get some snow. All the roads except the parking lots get cleared pretty fast, though. I'm mainly looking for an all season tire that does well in wet and dry conditions and can get me out of a snow-filled parking lot a couple times a year.

Well a good intermediate tyre that I've used is the Falken Ziex ZE-912. It's very capable in the rain and dry. Snow, I obviously can't have an opinion on. lol They don't last ridiculously long, though.
