A aa500 Member : 2005 mazda 6 Jul 30, 2012 #1 Hello, I am asking this question for a friend. The timing chain broke and ruined the engine in his 2005 Mazda6. He would like to replace the engine (4 cyl). He's not sure what he sould do.Any suggestions as to where to start to look? Thanks aa500
