Thieves at MAZDA

This disgusted me very much. I took my car in for the necessary changes.

Alarm Went Crazy.
Horn went Out.
ECU Flash.

When I got it Back I was missing my radar detector. I took it off of my dash and put it into my glove box. The administator saw me do it and even admitted to it.

I have called several times and they keep bs-ing me around, and they said well we had no reason to be in your glove box....... DUh

Anyway, if you take your car to FREEMAN MAZDA in Irving Texas. Becarful, someone is a thief..

In case you didn't know...from Durant, you're much closer to Town North Mazda on 75 in Richardson. I have mixed opinions about the service guys at Freeman, but I don't expect to be seeing them often anyway About a month after I bought my car, all the MSPs on the lot were broken into and had the head units stolen. Inside job? Hmmm...

My dealer kinda did the same thing, they went through my paperwork on my passenger seat. They found some "info" I guess was not to be dessimated to the general public, at the time. It has caused a big stink, and now I have a pending complaint with MNAO and the local BBB.

Anyway, I called Town North (cuz someone else said they had it), and the tech guy told me that they didn't have the new flash and they could do it yet.. so then i called Freeman and they said sure, so i did it.

Well, anyway, Do you know of any shops in dallas that are good, i am new to this area, and i need somewhere to get a boost controller before Friday... Got any Ideas.

Don't call anyone other than the police. They stole from you. It's a crime. Show up with a cop and you'll get a lot more action.

cops won't do anything for a radar detector. the only way a cop will go up there with you is if you know him.her or he/she is a family member...

Damn Irving is a crappy rough kinda town. High crime, high populace, and just too **** upped in general.
I don't go North of Fort Worth if I can help it Dallas county has really went down hill and all around the West Dallas area it smells like an open sewer What is up with that?

I was checking on my post to see what all you guys had to say and i get a phone call on my cell.

Freeman Mazda in Irving.
The lady on the phone was like "I was just calling to see if you visit with Freeman Mazda was a good one.".. I was like "Hell NO!, my radar detector got stolen". and i told her how i had called a million times. anyway she said that she would talk to the shop manager and let me know..

she just called back and said that if i would fax a receipt for the original or a new one they would reinburse me for it..

Not too bad I guess. But still dont go to FReeman MAZDA
