Not even close to what I was expecting. The movie was created nicely, but since I had completely different expectations, I was a little bumbed out once I realized what it was all about.
um no good!
everybody was booing in the theatere when it was over here.
that guy is making a killin off of it. the way the trailer is showed, you couldnt help but think it would be different.
has any body seen harold and kumar yet?
Possibly the worst movie I have ever seen.. I will never see another movie made by this moron M. Night shamamammamomamlon. He deserved a second chance after Signs but no more.
am I the only one in the world who thought it was a good movie? granted, the ending was cheap, but that's to be expected from a Night movie. I thought it was choreographed, produced, and directed beautifully. It's just something about this guy Night, where he can say nothing for whole scenes, yet say so much. I wish I was that talented.
I haven't seen the movie, but I have read very mixed reviews on it. I think one of the things people miss about Shyamalan is that he really is an excellent director. But, because he also writes all of his movies the results can be hit or miss. I think he builds suspense as well as the best of them (directors). But, his plots usually leave holes and the endings can sometimes be disapointing because he focuses far too much on his trade mark plot twists.
I think if he was to just come up with the basic ideas for his films and leave the writing duties to a true screen writer and then continue to direct the film and keep the same cinematography crew the results would be amazing.
