Basically it allows adjustment of the rear tires by pulling them in/out and forward/backward. It doesn't directly allow you to go lower. However, for people with wider wheels where tire to fender clearance is an issue it can give you the adjustments needed to go lower

an stiffens dont for get stiffens :)

Anyone have an idea on what is the widest tire that will fit a rolled rear fender on a MSP with about 1 degree of camber?

Depends on wheel width and offset.

I'm waiting to buy the wheels. Just curious to find the widest 17" tire to fit under the rear rolled quarter. It would either be a 17x7 or 17x8, but I didn't know if a 245 would fit.

^lol. I race the car and need the grip of the tire to be funtional.

can the first one be my front page pic? also 17x8+35 on 215/40/17

I always wondered how Cobra wheels would look on the car. Makes me sad I never tried.

I have come to request advice once more. Would I have any issues fitting a 17x9 wheel with +25 offset wheel? How about a +35 offset? Regardless of offset tire would be 205/40zr17. And I mean fitting these without the link kit. On protege5. Thanks in advance from Florida!!
