The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

you probably have more in it than a new one would have costed you huh....

Actually, I don't think anything would be different. New turbo, used turbo, the same issues would have been there eventually so in the long run I'm still probably ahead (relatively speaking...)

Installed the Corksport "Power Series" Exhaust

Gained 15 whp and get this...
20 ft/lb of torque!

Whoa, that is sweet! 2.5" right? I wanna see this dyno chart, sounds hot.

Now put those other toys on and crank the boost...

Well we never got the injectors done due to a lack of clarity regarding fitment and with the time zone difference not being able to talk with NSN we chose to err on the side of caution and put it off. Did get the greddy profec type s installed though and did some more tweaking on the corksport exhaust fitment. Unfortunately they missed sending me the urethane hangars with the exhaust and the OE rubber hangars allowed the pipe to shift position while I was on the highway I guess. Result... melted back bumper. :(

Few pics of the exhaust install...

Unfortunately the CS does not line up exactly with the MAM downpipe so there is a very slight leak at the flange. Also, the mid-pipe hits the front cross-member so I ended up using some header wrap to stop the vibration.

I see where you have your air filter at...just like when I had my Version 1 Sleeper. Be careful around standing water, as I sucked some water up last year, and luckily didn't damage anything.

Get the CS exhaust hangers or your exhaust will crack. They say that in the warranty thing. Ya, I love my CS exhaust too. I picked up about the same 15HP as you.

Don't see how softer hangers would cause the exhaust to crack but yeah, they're supposed to be sending them to me since I paid for them with the exhaust...

BTW, how's your car running? You've been pretty quiet on the board of late.

Can't let it go any longer...

I've got a cracked weld in the MAM manifold and I'm not letting it go any longer. I'm pulling the whole turbo assembly off this weekend and dropping the mani at the machine shop Monday to get repaired. Then it gets shipped to Auburn, WA to get the ceramic coating redone. With any luck, I'll be without a car again for only 10-12 days... :(

I had so much practice last year that this time everything came out in record time.
I went from this....

...to this is just over 2 hours! :D

Here's the crack in the manifold. It is just below the wastegate flange.

I also discovered that this was not my only exhaust leak. Look at the black here...

...and here.

My manifold flange is so curled it is leaking out both ends! It'll be resurfaced at the same time the cracks are repaired so I don't have any more of this happening.

I had the same issues. I had mine fly-cut to be flat. Now I'm rockin' the Version 2 tubular manifold. Almost a year with no issues. I really wish it had the relief cuts in it from the start like BEGI and Full Race have, to account for heat expansion.

Well I got the manifold all welded up. I'm just going to put some VHT paint on it for now and get the ceramic coating done again this winter. Can't handle any more down time... :D

While I had everything apart I figured I might as well get the AWR pan installed as well... :)

How to disconnect fuel pump assembly?

I thought I'd install my Walbro pump today but I can't figure out how to disconnect the 2 fuel lines on the top of the pump assembly. I don't want to break anything so I need some help.
Pic of what I'm talking about here...
