The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

Thanks! I'm very excited about the upcoming event at Knox Mountain in Kelowna. I've been talking lately with a number of former participants of this event and they have very mixed messages about it. Some say it's a blast, some say it is scary as hell! "You've got a wall on one side and a big, big hole on the other!"
I'm going in with the approach that day one will be the feeler, take no chances and learn the terrain so to speak. Day two will be get the tires warm and then see what I'm made of! lol!

how do the plates get installed? Do they cut the top off the transmission and weld them in place? Hope you can get some pics.

I was able to get a couple of pics of the spare trans before it was buttoned up. There was extensive machining done as well as thread repair/strengthening for the plate screws.
The machine shop reported that the supplied drawings from HYDRA were somewhat vague however through consultation with the trans builder/tech they were able to make everything work to exacting tolerances.

wow, they practically do cut the top of the tranny off. That is mad exact precision. I know I had to change shims for the bearings after I put the quaff in and the shims where like paper thin. I could not imagine machining and positioning everything, and having it all align up perfectly.

Dang so, dog gears and flex plate. Don't thing those gears are going any where.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge you for machining the case?? I did my own and was careful and probably a little slower than I needed to be and it took me 10 hours on a manual machine with no digital readout.

Can anyone provide a pic or diagram of the 3rd Gen Protege ABS Hydraulic Control Module and identify each port by wheel location?

No it doesn't exist. Believe me I looked and looked and looked, the FSM does not label the individual ports. If you take a look into my build thread where I built the brake lines you can see which goes where.

Hydra and MFactory goodies are all installed. Also had the brake system revamped so that the Blackworks hydraulic e-brake is functional for the rears only and there is a relay to override the ABS system when "intentional over-steer" is required! :D

It's been a busy weekend.
Got front and rear tow straps installed.

Hope I never have to use them!

Did the change of coils on my BC Racing BR's as well.
Went from 6kg front to 10kg SWIFT and 4kg rear to 8kg SWIFT.

Also relocated the battery.
