Question for you OH folks. I got a ticket on I-71 a week and a half ago. Madison County mountie. I went on their site last night to pay, and the ticket does not appear. Court date is set for 06/11. Do they not put it in their system until then, or did I maybe get lucky and it wasn't filed? I'm afraid to call if the latter is the case, and end up having it put in.
Does not appear, as in you put the ticket # in and it doesn't even come up?? I would wait until 6/10 to see if it shows up.
I got a federal speeding ticket last October, in a park, by a federal ranger. It said if I wanted to fight it, to not pay it and wait for my date. I did this, and was never contacted again LOL.

I got a ticket in IN a few years ago, didn't feel like going there to court to I just sent a check with the payment. You should be able to do that, the court date is only to determine if you want to pay or want to talk to the judge. Don't know if it'll be in the system after that so you can pay online.

Mike, if it were me and I got the ticket I would just call the police department and make sure the ticket got filed, where to send payment and be done with it. I wouldn't want a warrant out there for me for an unpaid speeding ticket. No thanks.

Just the opposite, now I can't do all that. I'm going to take the opportunity to show my boss what I can do since there's going to be more of a spot light on me. She's a little short staffed in a couple other areas that have bigger paychecks. Wouldn't mind being promoted to one of those positions.

Truth! I'm pretty swamped right now (one reason I've been quiet and not able to commit to events until last minute). My brain is so fried, I went to subway, ordered my sandwich, got back to my office and was disappointed when I found that I ordered something other than what I thought I had ordered. I completely forgot what I wanted and what I got in that period of time.
I'm about at that point, which makes getting stuff done at home after work near impossible. I have spent more time on site and on the phone the past 3 days (and tomorrow) than I physically thought possible.
