The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I don't have a facebook... probably never will. Maybe im just antisocial, or i just dont want idiots i went to high school with trying to "friend" me.

I've decided embarassing her is part of my job as a parent. Just wait until I chaparone her Middle School dance.

totally agree. i get satisfaction out of it. i just know that when my girl turns into a teen that im going to be the biggest annoyance in her life.

i can see it now...

daughter - "dad, can i go to the mall?"
me - "sure"
daughter - "great, see you later"
me - "hold on now, im driving"
daughter - "what? are you coming with?"
me - "yeah, your friends are hot!"
daughter - "at least put some pants on this time!"

What's Facebook lol.

I don't have it; all I see is my wife and everyone else I know living on there. There is a real world just outside that door! (Says the guy on a automotive forum)

I'm on the forum way more than FB, but I pop in usually in the morning and before I go to bed to see what's up since most of the good friends live way out of town. If they lived closer it would be a different story.

Update on my brother's car. He has it in for service today as it was shuddering and jerking under acceleration in low gears. Dealership is telling him that a couple of wires have frayed and the only way they can fix it is with a new wiring harness. Then, they're also telling him that his clutch is going out and needs to be replaced. They want $3300 to fix both "issues". My brother wants to get rid of it and now I have to call and figure out what the hell is going on. On top of that, I just spent 4 hours in the hospital with my wife because she was had an irregular heartbeat.

**** this day. (sadbanana)

I have a Facebook, but rarely post anything on it. I mainly use it to creep some people. Now I do comment a bunch of dumb stuff on other people's post, mainly to annoy them since I'm not there in person. My wife is always on hers, and I'm constantly bitching at her about it, which is about the only thing about Facebook we fight about at all. Now I have Facebook friends that are always telling where there at, what there eating, how s*** faced there going to get this weekend or some dumbshit I don't care about. Alas it's just Facebook so I don't care that much. An what the hell does Will do for a living since y'all claim he is so rich? Cause damn I am in the wrong job if that's the case.

What kind of car is it. I'm sure I can fix the wire problem and replace the clutch for a lot less than that. Dealership will be sucking the blood out of him over something stupid that they won't go into details about. Have them show him the wires and take a pic.

2008 Mazda3. I bet its the wires that go to his MAF sensor as he's got a Simota CF airbox on it. Simple splice. I bet it does need a clutch as he rides it a lot, though.

Wouldn't a wiring harness be covered under the powertrain warranty?

I would think so, but it really isn't powertrain. I would just fix the wire problem and go from there. The clutch might not be that bad.

I just did the math and his warranty expired back in March anyway. It just depends on where they say the issue is. I hope it's where I think it is because that's not a bad thing to repair.

Yeah, sometimes mechanics or shops make a little repaid seem like it is a big problem or hassle.

Sometimes it is complicated and for reasons you can't disclose... (I know I know, "if you can't share it, you shouldn't be in it"... Idgaf)

Random thread has become ranting thread ... Lol.

I shall join. I hate politics, religion, and traffic.

Done for the day!

It may be complicated, doesn't mean you have to put it on facebook as officially complicated.

i like facebook for a few reasons: 1. terMINATOR constant ongoing chat. 2. Hunting page for me and my friends where we share trailcam photos and plan trips 3. My fraternity page. 4. Trolling
