The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

plane would fly, the wheels are not powered by the plane. With thrust and wings moved to the lift position the plane will take off because in effect the plane is moving at take off speed on the belt.

Wings can be moved in any position, if there's no AIR passing UNDER and OVER the airplane, it will not fly. It is the difference in air pressure between the 2 that gives air plane wings lift.

yeah im fine. I forgot I said I didn't have a wallet to and I found that. so I am just missing my phone now

Well, I live on a gigantic hill, and my backyard still flooded about 6" deep which then made its way into my furnace chimney and was draining into the basement (unfinished). I had to dig a swale (ditch) to the front of my house to drain the water. Now my back is sore as ever.

it turned out to be a dirty cam sensor. Check your cam sensors, Speed guys!

hmmm..i'll have to take a look at that. were you having consistent bucking/hesitation? or only occasional? i needed an o2 sensor replaced about 3-4 years ago on mine, but it was BRUTAL to drive. it felt like it wanted to explode.

i now have occasional bucking and have just been ignoring it...

deep dish steelies look like garbage, camber looks like garbage, and k-sports are garbage. Don't ruin a car make it look/perform well and have some fun with it. Nobody here is into the slammed life and we actually use their cars for their intended purpose.

Driving?

I'm not a stance freak and I autocross but if its his car he can do whatever the hell he wants to it and still use it for his intended purpose.

So, mid-Ohio gets to host the runoffs in 2016! Lots of travel in 2014/15 but home field in 2016.

This was my driveway and front yard last night. it was about 11ish feet deep. This same creek barely has a trickle of water in it any other time
Edit: I don't know why I can't just post a picture

Gotta get the link to the image directly in order for it to work

That's pretty awesome about the runoffs. So now Mid-Ohio has the SCCA runoffs and the NASA championship. How cool is that?

For those of you not on Facebook, here is an update on Lauri. Lauri had surgery yesterday and if you are not aware of what she has been facing, here's the skinny. A month ago, Lauri had severe abdominal pain and they found Ovarian Cysts. After a 2nd CT Scan and blood tests they found cancer. She was operated on and the cancer was found in her abdomen, diaphragm and bowel. Her surgeon feels he got all of the cancer and she had a full hysterectomy. She will be in the hospital for 10 days and she will need Chemo as well. She is hanging tough and is very positive and we feel she'll make a full recovery. I will keep you all in the loop as to her progress.

hope everything goes as planned for both of you guys. Everyone is thinking about a safe a speedy recovery.

Jen left me a note telling me about it. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lauri and you. You know we will help you guys out in any way so don't hesitate to ask.

That's rough news, but I am very glad you, Lauri, and the doctors are optimistic for a full recovery! I'll definitely be thinking about you guys. :)

I'm glad she is doing well. My sister just found out the other day that she has a cyst on her ovary, also. :/

E-hugs and good thoughts headed Lauri's way for a full recovery.
