The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

They may have been quoted the "steady state" specs. The Fiesta ST has a weird little feature that cuts power after (I think) 20 sec of WOT. It's probably an engine-saving measure. I caught that episode Monday night. Because I don't want a Fiesta ST enough already...

It's an over boost function, but according to Ford, when you shift, it goes back into overboost again.

Are you being serious? Where would you build this project? Don't you still live with your parents? Would you build it at work? Would they let you? Do you have all the tools necessary to build such a project? Or would you just use your work again? And of course, most importantly, do you have the $$$ for a project like this?

Yes, how dare you!?!?! :D

lol. Sorry, guys. If we're all living in Wonderland then I'm going to build a helicopter in my basement. It's gonna be awesome. But I'll need some help with the wiring... :D

Yea, a friend in Pittsburgh said it took him over an hour longer to get to work with all the closed roads.

im pretty much stuck at work, only way home is through a town that is currently under water :(

pretty much every town south of the city for ******...

My Grandpap on my Dad's side lives in cranberry, on top of a hill, and my Grandparents on my Mom's side live in West Homestead, on top of a hill (though they are in NC now) so I take it they are all safe, just possibly stranded.

1 perk of a DVR is that i have it set to record every Top Gear that plays, its smart enough to save the episode # and then not record that number again, im up to 70 some episodes lol, its great having that many knowing if nothing is on TV, go to top gear haha

OMG yes!!! We love having our Tivo through RCN. We just create a season pass to record only the new episodes of the shows we watch. Tonight, I've got to add TG (not sure why I never did this before), Ray Donovan and The Bridge to the season pass list.

well they raved about it compared to the competition they had, there's really no competition state side. It's only downside to me is the price. It's not that much less than a MS3 or focus ST although the focus can get pricey with options added.

Yes it can! I built a Focus ST online once and had I been able to afford the payment still had trouble buying a $30K Focus! haha The Fiesta ST would be nice though. If it does well, I wonder how inclined Mazda would be to bring a MS2 stateside?

Pittsburgh is getting ****** by this storm... my old apt is flooded... basement is completely submerged and water is above the neighbors cars hood... Phen can attest for that to happen, the creek had to rise a solid 12+'

got other friends with alot of flooding/water in their basements as well... this is ******* crazy!!!

Damn that is crazy! And after having our basement flooded, I feel for your friends and others in the area going through the same. And that is effin nuts that the creek is that high near your old place!!!

Now, now....before you go getting worried about the wiring, work on the retractable roof first. After all, what good is a helicopter in the basement if you can't fly it out!

everything north of the "3 rivers" seems to be safe... everything south is whats getting flooded out....

why is this what i think would be built except you would find some way to dip it, set of racing seats and harness bar and you have race helicopter.
