The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Wow the next couple weekends are going to be the best. Mazda meet this weekend, Indy/bachlor party next Friday, wedding the Saturday after on the 4th (for those of you who didn't get a formal invite and friends with me your more than welcome to come over and have a great time. Just PM me), followed by a motor swap on the 8th (or sooner), and more racing on the 12th, and the Mazda meet/autoX event on the 26th. Hell yeah. Non stop of great back to back weekends.

I dunno.....I really don't feel like getting shot!!

And the next few weekends are wild for me/us too. Went to Columbus on Wednesday, then heading down again for the meet, then the 29th driving 3 hours each way to Latrobe for a baby shower (would go overnight, but don't want to spend for a hotel room, and nobody to watch the dogs), then back out to PIT on the 4th to hang out with some old truck buddies, then back down to Columbus on the 11th for a Trailblazer/Envoy/Colorado/Canyon meet at QS&L.

Lotta miles! haha

I think some movies are worth it, The Avengers and DKR definitively are. I didn't have to wait at all, I picked up the tickets on Wednesday night and walked straight into the theater, yes I arrived early but time went by pretty quick.

I may have an issue buying woot shirts...

I just don't like being sardined in a small area with dozens of people, I get too annoyed with talking, cell phones, obnoxious laughs, etc., to enjoy the movie. lol

The 1 or 2 times we go to the movies a year, we'll wait until it's just about to be pulled from the lineup, and go for a matinee screening.

Hotel and tickets are booked for Indy! Woohoo!

Who else is going?

What doesn't annoy you? Haha, I'm the same way though. I usually just wait for it to come out on video. Also why I don't go see many live shows (music) much anymore. People annoy me. "Woo-hoo! I'm wasted so I'm going to talk the entire set list!". I came here to listen to music, talk to your friends after the show.

Wish I could but I'll be in Hartford City, IN instead. You have to get a breaded pork tenderloin sammich at the track. Best thing there.

OMG! Evan's that dude at shows who sits/stands there with an angry look on his face the entire time because everyone else isn't "enjoying" the music.

LOL, just bustin' your balls.

LOL! Pretty much, Jon! But that's why I buy music DVD's, so I can SHOOOSH! my girlfriend. hahaha

I'm still salty the smart can't run in auto-x. All the crap I've put it through, I don't think it will tip. At least not with OEM tires lol. I got the rear to come out twice in 2 days, speed (obviously not throttle) induced, over 30mph.

Damn auto-x rules. If I make an external cage on the outside of the smart, can I compete then? If it rolls it will just flip back over. Ingenious :P

The smart car cannot compete in any class? I thought some cars could not compete in stock class because of the stock suspension and racing tires = high rollover risk. If you have suspension mods and street tires, I think you would be fine in a street tire class.
