The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I'd potentially be in for some karting.. sounds like we have a decent sized group interested, anybody want to check out the "Group outing" option?

[h=3]Group Outings:[/h]Birthday & Bachelor Parties, Team-Building, Corporate Events
Reservations are available for group outings of ten or more through the PIRC Events Staff for private parties. Parties or groups can be accommodated during Open Sessions or as exclusive events! For group outings please contact Dan Schlosser to schedule events - 724.535.1000 or d.schlosser@pittrace.com

ill see if i can get ahold of the guy tomorrow... ill take the reigns on this one since im the closest one to the track :)

ill get details and try to get a date set up, probably will look to set up in july or august **provided that works with them** so that way we all have PLENTY of time to plan/set that date aside

anyone know what would cause my turn signal not to work all the time?

could it be the actual the turn signal switch connecting to the steering column? would i need a new multi switch (wiper switch turn signal switch)

More than likely the switch itself. A bad flasher unit wouldn't cause sporadic availability like that.

i would check the easy stuff like making sure there isnt a poor/loose connection around the bulb, thats free takes a few mins and could potentially save you some money replacing a stalk that didnt need replaced

Sweet thanks man!!

More than likely its your "hazard" relay. All your turn signals are ran through that. Its just a clip/harness that's behind the button it self. Easy enough to fix

Yeah, but that normally affects all blinkers the same way... not just an individual one.

Just get rid of your turn signals all together. Weight savings.

Just signed up for the NORA auto-x on July 1st at Geauga Lake. I would do the June 16th event but I will be in Michigan that weekend. I'd love to see some more people there on the 1st :D

I'm pretty sure he is, AJ. We'll see you out there, right? Do you think Corey will have his motor back together in time?

youll deffinitely see me there. i also just snagged a deal on a ssftc. yay! so i should be running strong. and depending on when parts arrive, im sure hell be out there. we can get work done pretty fast.

also when is the mid ohio corrall?

did you get the one in Ontario?

The weekend after, June 8th-10th.

JT heard "Canada" and his ears perked up. haha

I'll be at the June 3rd event at Toledo. It'll be my first event :D. AJ, you should make it out to the July 1st event here. I know there's one in Fostoria but wouldn't it be better to hang out with us instead? Oh and the Mid Ohio Corral is the weekend after the Toledo auto-x. June 8th weekend.

hmmmmmmm we will have to see about geauga lake. id much rather run a new course like that, but it all depends on the points situation here! i wanna win my class this year so i can get some recognition and get some sponsorship. but theres a good chance ill see you there july 1st :)

That would be cool. Hopefully we can get a good group of people together for it. I'm fairly sure that I won't be competitive in the least bit (STU) but this year is going to be all about actually learning how to drive.

dont underestimate yourself. ill ride along with you and see if i can give you some tips. but just a forewarning, i tend to get pretty loud when i coach hahhaha
