The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Tell that to the stock-class autocrossers that run 275 wide hoosiers on 6" wheels ;)

Recommended? No. But a 235 on a 7" wheel will mount and work just fine. An 8"er would be better though.

What offset are your RPF1's, Marlon? I'm just thinking they would rub like crazy for Corey. But the price is right. ;)

42 is the offset IIRC, has about 1/8" clearance from the coilover and I do run negative camber as well. It is best mounted on an 8" wheel

got another woot shirt today... in case you didn't know, yes I'm obsessed with bacon...

I would have more issues with rubbing on the fender than coilover. I believe my track wheels are 35+

MAN....s*** just got REAL on my brother's SS. They got it back together after replacing a few rockers and pushrods last week, and it was still making the noise. So, long story short, turns out it spun a bearing. He goes in to talk to the guy/check it out....and finds this!!!!!!!!!

I mean really....why the **** would anyone need to pull the body off to take a motor out?? I can't wrap my head around that at ALL.

It's actually not that bad of a job though. I had to replace the frame of a Trailblazer a few years ago...lol

He's flipping out though...this is a whole new can of worms they just opened up. How can he trust that they're not going to miss hooking up a random ground? Or the tranny lines? Or all his aftermarket stuff; HID's (ballasts were mounted to the frame) tranny cooler, big 3 grounding kit for his audio, rear air bag settings, etc.? I feel bad for him, nobody likes to see something they love cut open on the operating table like that.
