The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

More freakin training, al day today.......we are transitioning to new loan product lines and we have trainers coming from all of the various states that we'll be handling. Fun for me....not!

Oh Marlon, I wanted to thank you for hooking me up with that contact at Montrose. I ended up going private sale cause everything fell into place but I really appreciate your and Brian's help. Let me know if you ever need anything I can help you with.

I agree...I didn't feel very safe with all of the bumps

I go there it shocks me how bumpy it is. By the 2nd day I was getting used to it though. We had 30 minute sessions and I couldn't wait for them to be over by the end. The bumps really beat you up.

Heh... funny you say that. Know why they didn't put the 3.8L from the 911 in the Boxster? Because it would outperform the 911. Can't have the baby car outperforming the flagship. Same thing with the Cayman. I laughed my ass off when I found that out.

The 3.8L in a Boxster or Cayman would be fantastic! I like the balance of the Boxster/Cayman more than the 911.

That's awesome. I'd love to see this happen. I also found it interesting that the article said that Ohio is one of the largest states as far as beer consumption.

I am drinking beer. About to get a shower and hit the bed. Golf league tonight, we are in second place and playing the team that is in first to determine the winner of the first half. Wish me luck we have to play the back 9, I struggle with the back. I am between clubs on about 7 of the holes, lots of elevation change and some seriously F'ed up greens.

It's 8:30 in the morning. Does that fact still surprise you? lol

Ivan I work 3rd shift, 1030pm to 630am so it's happy hour at my house! Forgot to mention I worked an hour over today, so ya, you understand.

Haha I know I just had to rag on you a bit. If I worked 3rd shift, I'd be doing the same exact thing. I wanna play some golf though... I suck at it but it's a lot of fun.

Putting out fires at work again. Enough of this crap... I have other work I need to do.

****, I do that on weekends. I think the first beer was cracked at 930 on Saturday.

the hardest part of the rear IMO is just getting the endlinks off, youll need an Allen key and wrench and if there is any corrosion on them, soak them with PB blaster like crazy, then they should come out pretty easily after that its swing down sway bar, and springs are out haha then just 3 bolts to get the rear shocks off

then for the fronts the hard part is getting the strut out of the lower control arm (might not be proper name but youll see what i mean when the wheel is off) best way to get that off is to spray some PB blaster, leave the top strut mount attached and hit the control arm down with a hammer after that you can take the bolts out of the top mount and drop it out, then hit the spring compressors on the fronts to get the top mount off and then its just repeating what you did to get everything off haha

End links on the rear shouldn't be to bad since i take them off every now then anyway when i play with the RSB. I'll probably start taking the interior apart for the trunk in the next day or so. I am concerned about taking the front shock out of the control arm, but i did see a trick to loosening it up on another site.

where do you play, larry? marlon and i used to cruise down to Mohican Hills to play every once in a while. We loved it there.

shocks in the rear are taken off from the wheel well no need to take apart the interior

Thanks, thats good to know. I got the Fat Cat Bumpstop kit so i souldn't have to worry about cutting them since i'm only dropping on prokits. I've got to clear up my garage so have a clear work space.

you mean I don't need a big ass CF wing with matching CF hood & trunk to finish my race car wanna be look?

Lol ouch!

Ehh, another day at the beach. Sailing at 2, kayak at 3, arm fulls of young women begging to drink my Yuengling, and a delicious progressive dinner in the works for tonight.

My league is at Forest Hills gc in Mansfield. It is an "executive course" 8 par3's and 1 par4 per side so execs can get in a round of golf and not burn up the whole day for a business "lunch". 18 holes in easily less than 3 hours. Haha.
