I'm glad my sidewalls are taller than most curbs.. I loathed hitting wheel on curb. The sound alone sent shivers up my spine.

Haven't driven the RX-7 in nearly two weeks. With the cold weather, snow and UHP tires I'm not going to risk it. It's supposed to hit 40F this Friday so maybe I'll take her out then...

In the meantime the Tacoma is a beast in the snow even with all-seasons. 4x4 to get going and the ability to engine brake (6-speed) makes dirving pretty easy. I just wonder how long it will be until someone rear-ends me though...

Exactly! I've got Blizzaks on and my car doesn't have any trouble in the snow. I love passing people to and from work, SUV's and 4x4's all doing 20mph and a little silver wagon with orange wheels goes zipping by. So long, suckas! But I'm always checking my rearview mirror at stoplights for someone to rear end me. It's like people in Ohio have never seen snow before...

tell me about it, it was the worst sound ever... i still want to cry :( I'm surprised I didn't damage the bumper, good thing too but it would have been a good excuse to get the one I want for the open mouth grill. I still need to make sure the suspension didn't suffer any damages...

The wheels are readily available at Discount Tire, that's where Ivan got them and the Toledo store has them for $125 a wheel. Or you could get that repaired. But do you have anything to replace it while it's being repaired?

linky is not working, i have a donut...

Stoopid link... Well Marlon was telling me about a shop in Medina that repairs rims (I need to repair one of my bent Enkei's) hit him up for the number and get a quote. I'm sure you can borrow one of Phens wheels for the time being perhaps?

He'll never know it's gone.

Plus I know he'd want to help out too. He had a whole set pf P5 wheels out for DaveB's nephew to borrow. eHugs for all.

Anyone know where to get tires cheap? Best I've found was Tirerack.

Pablo and evan, maybe we can see if they want to do a small gb since i have a small bend in the one oz wheel haha

i called them up, will stop by tomorrow and see if they can fix it. i was out there again and noticed the wheel shifted towards the back..... i might have bent something, now i gotta figure out what the total damage is (nailbyt)

discounttiredirect Prices are a tick higher than tirerack but I've always saved money buying from them considering shipping is free and customer service is top notch. Shop around online...if you find them at a lower price they'll match and then some. ;)
