^ toys are fun!

i found a way to find 2 expensive hobbies (cars and guns) luckily for me, i modded the car to where im happy with it before i started buying lots of guns hahahaha

Alright my brain is stumped. What type of wheels to they use for grand am that only have the 1 centric lock nut?

I've wanted center lug for awhile... Everyone says unpossible due to crazy torque needed to keep it on... Not convenient for when you get a flat lol

Edit: lol old man talk. You're making it sound like he's in his 80s

Center lugs are a whole new kind of expensive. The torque wrenches the GT3 guys use are in the $300-500 range: http://www.tooltopia.com/precision-instruments-c4d600f.aspx

Plus you need a huge breaker bar in addition to the large torque wrench. Not a cheap endeavor. Porsche center lugs are torqued to 375 ft-lbs. btw. Then you get into wheels and everything else involved. But man they are cool! :)

Just called a rep from Forgeline and got a whole lot of info off of them. Not the greatest for autocross. Your adding about 5lbs per wheel because of the adapter plate that is needed for the wheels and to make them hub centric, also torque specs for them are @ 300 ft lbs. For 17's depending on the wheel, looking at about $5,300 - $5,600 for wheels, conversion adapters, nuts, socket, and torque bar. They are more for looks unless the car came from the factory with a center lock wheel setup. Still looks sick and keeping that thought in the back of my head for future tax $$$:)
