Ya know, I've noticed that too. When I fill up from "GetGo" I get worse milage... If only Shell wasn't the opposite direction from work/home.

Ok, it is cold, and gas mileage gets worse for me. But only 270 miles for 12 gallons?!?
I filed up my car with shell yesterday and I will update you on the mileage!

RX-7: ~275 miles to 15 gallons
Tacoma: ~275 miles to 18 gallons

I feel like this is worse than it has been in the past too. I used to be able to 300+ miles on the Taco...

I think I stopped at a Giant Eagle in Norton the other day with my dad. At the pump you could purchase a drive thru car wash for like 6 buks!

Now I see they suck more money out of you and give you less gas as well *thumbs down*

Damn Magnum, the fc is guzzlin gas! I think mine used to avg ~18mpg depending how much highway driving. Unless I was in a "get sideways" type of mood...

LOL, 275/15 ~18 mpg. That's the average though. I've broken 21 mpg once on all highway driving, and it's been as low as 16 (mainly when driving to and from UC from Mason).

Haha, thats some fail. Not sure what math I was doing there, I shorted that 300 miles/15 gallons would be 15mpg instead of 20, DOH! I blame it on the Accounting exam I took a couple hours ago after cramming all morning. fml lol (wiggle)

Been driving my girl's eclipse gt to work lately... I try not to hate it, but I do. haha Sob has the worst turning radius of any "sporty" car I have ever come in contact with. Actually it's pretty bad in comparison to most any car I've ever driven... My sister's Envoy cuts tighter than it I think, lol.

I need to figure out what this thumping noise is in the MP3. You think if the front sway bushings were really worn out that it could cause a rhythmic thumping as I drove? It seems like its definately something rotational but it's got me and a couple ASE cert. mechanics stumped.

I'm driving 90% HW. Last summer we went to SC, and on pure HW I was getting close to 30MPG, or about 400 miles on 12 gallons. I average about 27MPH or 370 on 12 Gallons. Now you see how bad GE gas is when I got only 270 miles!

when the msp was on the road, i would consistantly average mid to high 300s for a tank.. course i rarely ever was in boost.. speaking of the MSP.. i am going forged again.. haha

Dude, I was sooo happy that I kicked the car sideways in front of a cute chick in Charlotte, NC yesterday. Spit a few fireballs and left.

Oh, right, the Toyota throttle recall. It's an '03 so I'm not sure it is in that recall. My cousin floored it to miss a minivan, or so he says, and he said there was a loud squeal then the engine died. They had it towed to my house, we put in a new battery and it fired right up, but was knocking really badly. My uncle already ordered the new-ish motor, and I don't really work on internals, so I'm just swapping stock for stock. My cousin really isn't into cars and doesn't know much about them, nor does he take care of them. It sat for 2 years and was COVERED in dirt. I almost punched him inthe face. These damn kids gotta start taking care of their toys! heh-heh

The recall only affects 07+ models I believe. Maybe a couple 06's too? I know my gf's dad has an 05' Camry and its not part of the recall. But 07'+ Camrys all have the faulty gas pedal. I don't know much about newer Toyota body style years.... As u can tell, lol.

I have listened to the NPR radio news story about the family that crashed when their accelerator pedal was stuck. They even had time called the police, but it was to late. Four people died in a crash! Year ago police car tried to stop the car by driving in front of it and slowing it down.
My dear American friends. I know most of you drive automatic and not aware of Neutral position of the transmission. If you , God forbidden, drive Toyota or Lexus and get in to stuck pedal situation, just shift to N position and then brake to slow down. Most stick shift drivers are more aware of this.
