Yeah, there's plenty of them out there, but they'll all eventually end up like that in Ohio. I'll just use this one as a beater and go from there.

Hence why I refuse to allow my Speed out in the winter and parked anywhere but in a garage. For as long as my Vibe will allow it.

My Vibe is starting to look like that. I opened the hood to fix one of the headlights and just stared at the engine compartment and how beat it looked. Spots all over the hood and roof rusting where rocks chipped the paint away. Maketh me saddeth, but 205k on a car will do that.

At this point, the car is only needed to be transportation. I'm going to keep up with all maintenance, obviously, and try to keep it clean...but she's too far gone to save.

I started to upgrade the car a couple years ago, but realized where the car was going to end up so I am doing the same. Just nursing her along to keep her a reliable driver until the sad day he passes.
