Car, pretty much stuck on a new or used genpu Mazda 3 or genpu MS3. I really like the Focus ST but it's just more than I want to spend. Plus I could get a low millage used MS3 for Sub $20k and it would take me about 10 years for the ST to be more economical fuel wise.
my list:
I did get a great offer on the new '12 s GT w/ tech sedan but now that car salesmen seems to be flaking out. Just not getting a good overall feeling on this and it's reminding me a lot of how the MS6 in Pittsburgh went. The s is the 2.5L so not exactly the best MPG's or power but it's reliable and for a fully loaded car @ 33% off sticker it's a really good deal. Plus there's a 2 hour drive to Canton and I prefer the hatch on genpus.
Nick's dealerships have a '12 Mazda3 i Touring Skyactiv Clicky Clicky for pretty cheap and low miles. Blue isn't my favorite and again, would prefer the hatch. But a good deal is a good deal and of course great MPG's.
And they have 2 '12 MS3's a VRM & CWP w/ tech package, low miles and of course Hatch & Turbo! Price is high according Edmunds and KBB and there is Local Competitionbut even if they come down I'm still not sure I want to spend that much.
and there's always the new Mazda3 i sedan to check out. I think the touring would put me somewhere slightly below a MS3, looks better the the '12 and could get any color I want. Just not sure about the radio placement, how cheap I want to be or if I want more power.
fwiw, I have never liked the look of the 3 sedan. They're just weird looking to me, not sure why. Maybe because the hatch version is so much better looking. I cast my vote for a speed3 but not CWP (the group has plenty of them already). So there you go, buy the VRM speed 3. Good day sir. LOL

Isn't a 2012 MS3 a GenPu? They came in Velocity Red Mica? Or is that still a GenWon?
yes. yes. gen-juan was true red. VRM was used on the MS6.

I've been sick most of the weekend. I'm hoping I get better for some car shopping tonight.
Had to spend a hour to get my dad's one wheel drive truck out of the ice/snow/mud after it has sat in the yard for the whole winter. What a huge P.I.T.A.! Had to jack the whole back end up and put plywood under it to get it out of the ruts. Took MSM wheels and Falkens to get mounted for the 2. Can't decide if I want to play around with the MSPs tomorrow or put the Eibach spring on April's car as well.
