Im really regretting getting rid of my saturn right now. I shouldve have kept it as a beater/DD (i just realized how many miles ive put on the ms3 in a short period of time) and its making me sad.

Time to start saving a little for a decent condition beater me thinks...

Cars are meant to be driven. Why keep a nice, fun car in the garage only to drive a beater? You will drive a finite number of miles in your life, might as well do it in something awesome whenever possible.

That's my thinking too. Of course, the Miata would kill me if driven in the winter the way it is currently setup. Weight, tires, and a different clutch would make a difference

I hated life when I was driving the Milly and it was a nice car. But sooooo bloody boring! Might as well drive a fun/nice car.

Peaches, imagine if you sold the MSM and DD'ed the F150 and only got to track the MSP since she's not road legal. Life would suuuuuuck.

That sounds like it falls into the legitimate reason category. A Miata isn't the most practical of vehicles either.

Yeah, i know its meant to be driven, it just irks me to know that ive doubled the mileage from its first 5.5 years on the road in less than a year. With my saturn, i didnt care because everything was insanely easy and cheap to fix.

Either way, i love the car...and it makes travelling for work fun, thats for sure.

You can still have fun driving a beater. It just depends on what car you choose as a beater. Why limit yourself to only driving 1 car?

For sure. The saturn had 85 horsepower before the rings were shot and was still fun to whip around. I wish i wouldve auto-x'd it after i rebuilt it
