The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

well, I didn't unplug my cluster so I just had to position it right so I could see (there was still light out) and put the ignition in ACC, and given the limited room in the miata I had to be careful :)

If you can plug it in somewhere else and test it, the you can mark it

one nice perk of working somewhere for 5+ years is now I get alot of paid time off hours. Now I just have to figure out how to use 23 days worth of it.

can you gimme some? I scheduled a trip to NYC and Colombia in April. That and Dayonta will use up my PTO up to that point, I'll have to wait a while before I can have more time off

Surgery was sucessful. A plate and 6 screws. I am home now. I have never been in as much pain as I was after coming out of anesthesia. They gave me some good stuff via my I.V. After it wore off I was fine and haven't had any pain meds since.

Glad it went well and you made it back home. I hope the recovery goes quickly and successfully! :)

ok, sister is looking for a new car (well new to her) we have plenty of time to look. She just lost her license for a ticket so she has time lol. She asked me what car to look for and I pointed her in the direction of the protege. She looked for a little bit and responded with "ok, but only the speed will cut it" following in my footsteps (tears of joy). So my question is to you protege guys, what should I keep an eye out for when we go to look, and would anyone be up to meet us at a dealership or with someone to look it over with us? it will be her first stick shift car.

Patrick, I would be up for meeting you guys to look at MSP's sometime. I'm always free after work (5:30pm). While I do love the Protege and have been very fortunate that all my FS-DE's have been strong running and didn't burn oil we'll have to check that any MSP she is interested in isn't burning oil as that is the most common symptom to our motors. That's why I ditched it and went with a V6. :D

awesome, I didn't know if she should just get a normal protege, or the MSP she can spend right around 6k on a car but i would like to stay under that. I have found a few right around the 85-100 thousand miles range. is that a lot for a MSP?

6k seems to be the asking price for most MSP's no matter how many miles they have.

What's her time frame? like this spring or some time later this summer?

Signed up for Pelotonia again so this is my pre-apoligy for the annoying spam-like requests for donations I'll be making. Completely different motivation for me this year. Also if anyone is interested in riding I might beable to get your regestration fee covered.

Let the begging begin: Donate to my Pelotonia Ride and help find a cure for cancer! 100% of your donation goes directly to The James Cancer Research Center at OSU
