Vallejo Bitches!!!!! Thanks for sharing! I am trying to figurre out whats for lunch and you go and do that...that is messed up!

What the heck are those underneath the rice? They don't look like hamburgers so I have no idea...

Well, considering you have a hard on for the Focus RS and also think that putting more computers in cars is a good idea, I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Well you also seem to think a 1985 Toyota pickup truck is the best vehicle ever made. sooooo... haha. But we all know the 2002-2003 Mazda Protege5 is the best vehicle ever produced and the FS is the best motor ever produced.

Well, that and because race car.
+1 I have April to the point where she doesn't want to ride in my car anymore and we take the kids in her car. No more messes in the back seat, no my whinning about they can't hear other people talking or the radio or your can feel every bump in the car and their back hurts when they get out. Just me and the machine. My kids love the car though and think it is halarious that they bounce up and down when going down the road.

Bwhuhahahahahahhaha... my bad (not really)

Under the rice were chicken hearts, there's also:

Sweet plantains
beef sirloin
pork sirloin
Beef ribs
sausage
chichen wrapped in bacon
lamb
Beer

^^^ That's awesome. I still do "crazy driver" when Tessa is in the car. And if she pokes fun at me I just lock up the brakes, scares the crap outta her everytime. Because race car. Phen. Because race car. Phen, why? Because. Because race car. haha

edit- ninja'ed by my Peach. Chicken hearts? Oh my word. I don't think I could handle those. I bet it was yummy though so I won't yuck your yum. :)

This thread is hilarious today!!!

I think Phen still has the lead with his "go back to steam engines" comment. Close second would be the "we drive Mazdas" one...hahaha

It's actually the ST. And yes I do have a hard on for it. Its going to be an amazing car that combines the power of the MS3 with the refinement of a VW GTI. Hell, I saw a blue one this morning on a transporter and I almost had a crisis in my pants!

I don't think I ever said computers in cars are a good idea. I like how technology can be combined with speed to make something much more enjoyable and useable. But do you want to know the best part? In most situations, you can turn that s*** off if you want to.

You don't have to fear change/improvements dude.

I'd put that on the 7 if they were made. I also have a sticker that says "Save the humans, recycle and environmentalist" which is going right above the tailpipe with all the black soot.

I don't think they're improvements when the computers are simply hiding bad drivers. If that's cool with you that there are kids out there fooling thinking they're Speed Racer because they have a fancy car with lots of electronic crap (see vid Josh posted), I guess that's your call. And that's really what it boils down to. The computers either attempt to cover up driver error, or offer more distractions. In-dash DVD player/nav system? Or like how Ford decided to remove the physical buttons and put everything on the touch screen. Perfect. Now you can't even change the fan speed without taking your eyes off the road. Sounds like improvement to me. They're having great success with it, as well, since they partnered with Microsoft.

I don't know, I have a hard time believing all these traction control, DSC, etc. are merely covering up bad driving. Most of it comes down to safety. Hell, even ABS is an improvement over manually pumping the brakes. I'll agree all the "info-tainment" crap is annoying and unneeded and probably makes vehicles less safe. I think of it this way: if it's in an F1 car, it's probably not just covering up "bad driving habits."

I agree with John. Why would you not want ABS? I also agree with Phen. Would you rather us go back to the era with no airbags? No seatbelts? We may as well Flinstone our asses around town. Why bother with engines at all? I'm trying not to put your argument down, but it's kind of hard not to.

The first half of your post isn't about the car. It's about the parents not properly training their kids how to handle that type of vehicle, or any vehicle period. more than likely, his parents bought him the car, gave him the keys, and that was it. It doesn't matter about traction control, stability control, active yaw management, etc. It was simply poor education.

The second part of your posts is the fault of the consumer. Everyone wants this massive helping of new-age technology but they don't want to spend the time to learn how to properly use it. Ford Sync system, Audi's MMI, Mercedes COMAND, and so forth all have learning curves, but no one wants to take time to understand all the functions. I'm not a genius and I figured it out. (lol2) With Ford, there are still secondary controls for radio and climate.

None of my cars have had ABS, but I've driven ones with it and I absolutely hate it. For me, there's nothing more disarming than having the pedal fight me. No air bags? Come on, how many people on here have installed aftermarket steering wheels?

I didn't realize so many people were so adamant about having all of that stuff in their cars. Guess I'm the odd one out here.

Let's do what the Europeans do, you not only have to take a driving test but a vehicle dynamics test as well. then 99.9% of the U S Population would not be driving at all. It is not cheap to get a license either, so that is why you do not see a lot of teenagers and young adults driving across the pond. I driven cars built in the 40's, 50's, 60's, etc, etc. and the advances made on vehicles today is fantastic. In your argulent Wes, you probably would hate power steering which is now controlled by computers, try driving a 58 Ford Pick up with out it...hopefully you will have eaten your Wheaties......in order to turn the damn thing..
