I really like the blue, atleast in the pictures. I don't think I've seen it in person.
I LOVE that blue. Saw a sky active 3 in that color on my way to work every so often when I worked in broadview heights. I was going to use that as my accent color on the white miata but knowing that rollbar would see temporary use in the green miata... I went with silver instead lol.

As far as driving hard on back roads... I never EVER cross the double yellow like that tard. Even if it's 100% clear and I can see. That's a bad habit to get into and one of the nice things about the track... Soooo much room that you aren't used to!

Hahaha! Which show was that? Meaning, what was the content, so I can try to search for it and record it.

It was the "Mazda Motorsports Hour" on Velocity. The content was MX-5 Cup at Mosport in this particular case. But they also show Star Mazda and other stuff.

I think it was about a 6 hour job with Levi, his friend, myself and I think Peaches was there. We weren't rushing. It wasn't too bad at all. But then again, a clutch swap isn't really a big deal anymore after motor swaps. I would just hate for you guys to have to pay a shop to do it when it's something you can do yourself.

Levi, what did you think?

Speed3 = easy due to the FWD
Speed6 = PITA due to the AWD type transmission. It can be done, but you are best off going up to Mark's (spdfreak) in Chicago and have those guys help you out (his lift and air tools are quite extensive)

Oh, I forgot the Speed6 was AWD. Never mind. haha.

So you think its even worth considering to do myself/with help from you guys ;)?

^^^ Challenge accepted. Haha. Jon, do you have a link to a work shop manual for the MS6 or a How-To for some research I can check out?

Off to school to learn more about something I won't use in the future :)

I have PMed him, however, looking at the photographs of the AWD system, it looks like a FWD transmission with a fanged output shaft on the back. So maybe remove the rear driveshaft then drop it like a FWD transmission. Perhaps it won't be hard at all. I'd say give it a shot.

Yeah, that drive shaft is supposed to disconnect fairly easily, and you just approach the rest of it like a FWD transmission.

Those M3's are no joke man. They are a blast and are fast as hell.

Well, considering you have a hard on for the Focus RS and also think that putting more computers in cars is a good idea, I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Ever driven one?

A bmw? Yes, two 533i's and a Z3. An e46? No. The main thing that turns me off of the whole company is the owners and how they delude themselves into thinking that driving a certain car will get them ladies. I've yet to see it work. (shrug)

Less computers all around! Hell, let's all go back to carbs for ****'s sake! Wait, **** that too. Back to steam engines!

Ok, the owners' diluted mindset of their car getting them chicks. I guess it kinda goes along with us Mazda owners thinking we're ******* race car drivers because the cars handle well.

The E36 was the last great BMW that they ever made from a performance / drivibility standpoint. The E46 is quite good. The car in the video was an E92 (you can tell by the mirrors). Ridiculously fast, handle well, but are boring otherwise.

Quite frankly though... if a guy is trying to use his car to pick up a girl, then more than likely the girl is after something and will leave when it runs out, or when more of it comes along. They can have those bitches, because I don't want one of those. However, I have had more conversations with ladies that have begun due to the Bavaria than I ever did with the Miata.

Ok... and insert whatever stereotypical gay joke about the Miata here. I'm sure someone will.

s*** no need to crack a joke when you pick up more chicks via the bav than the miata... i think thats a substantial joke in and of itself haha

I am with Phen on this one, The E46 is still the best that they have ever produced, this is stated by a number of die hard BMW owners, includig James Clay, Owner of Bimmerworld. Most of the BMW owners I know already have "chicks" and are not driving the car to find them. Growing up in L.A., these type of women won't even look at a BMW owner, now if you upgrade to your six figure Italian Stud Cars, we can have a conversation. From the statement above, I guess Ohio women have a lower standard? J/K.......If you've got good game, you can be driving a Mazda 6 wagon or a hoopity and pull all types of women, car or no car.....now back to our regulary scheduled program.

Why would the car have anything to do with it? How many people have met a significant other while nowhere near their car? Just food for thought.

I've never run into someone while they were in/on their vehicle and been like, OMG I WANT TO DATE YOU.

.....

Anywho. I think I may attempt to wire up some stuff on the Miata tonight and figure out where to weld the tranny crossmember plate onto the new frame rails. :)

So, how are you guys today? I'm in heaven right now...
