The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

It'll fall off next renewal. Progressive only re-rates at renewal, unless you make a change. You can call have have it dropped if its really a big deal, but I'd assume it won't change your rate too much.

Progressive won't drop your rate that much for the ticket coming off your record, they didn't for me.

Also, never try to get an RX7 insured with Erie, they are bastards about it.

We used a HF tranny jack when swapping out Levi's clutch and flywheel and it worked fine, no worries.

how giant of a pain in the ass was that job? i think the clutch is the same between the speed3 and speed6 (or at least close). i'm gonna need a new clutch soon...I don't really want to do it myself..but I don't want to pay for it either...

I think it was about a 6 hour job with Levi, his friend, myself and I think Peaches was there. We weren't rushing. It wasn't too bad at all. But then again, a clutch swap isn't really a big deal anymore after motor swaps. I would just hate for you guys to have to pay a shop to do it when it's something you can do yourself.

Levi, what did you think?

Speed3 = easy due to the FWD
Speed6 = PITA due to the AWD type transmission. It can be done, but you are best off going up to Mark's (spdfreak) in Chicago and have those guys help you out (his lift and air tools are quite extensive)

i think a clutch job is still easier than doing a front sway bar install on a 3/ms3 hahaha

and yeah it took us most of a day BUT we stopped working to eat lunch, goofed off a bit... it was a pretty slow/relaxed install

if someone needed help doing a clutch install, id help out providing my schedule was clear.

Awhile ago I figured out each ticket added $75 to my policy. Progressive here.... But who knows how they rate me lol.

I recently switched to USAA and it is insanely cheap compared to Progressive. I currently have 2 tickets :D

Since some of you have asked what I'm doing in boston, I took a few pics of the truck. We show people how to get ebooks and audio books from the library

Are you wearing a suit? (Peaches parents were harassing him saying he should be wearing a suit to work. tee-hee)

That's a pretty sweet setup for sure, man! That truck looks badass too! So do you basically give tours/presentations in the trailer?

Yeah, set it up in the morning, give tours during the day and tear it down so the driver can move on to the next library.

And once I got here I realized I was in cape cod :)

nope. and they dont know where it is. they said their records say it was picked up..... the same day they called and told me it was in des moines.

UPS is the way to go.........hope they find your parts. I would call back and asked who signed for it, as they should have asked for ID.
