How did you get that scoop on the hood?

Yeah that was a functional hood that was made by SLP Powerproducts they made oem spec hoods for many cars. Their the ones who made the hood for the Camaro SS. Anyways from what I heard they went out of business.

Actually Vivid Yellow is the Single Stage paint used on the Protege5. The Sunburst Yellow on my car is a custom base/clear paint that is slightly darker than the Vivid Yellow. I don't believe Mazda used a color called Sunburst Yellow, course I could be mistaken.

I have sunburst yellow on my MP5 and I don't think I have a custom paint job. That is a factory color, color code HZ

I have sunburst yellow on my MP5 and I don't think I have a custom paint job. That is a factory color, color code HZ

maybe it was called "sunburst" in 02 and "vivid" in 03, cuz I know my 03.5 is called Vivid Yellow

I was at my performance store when SLP came out with the Protege hood and I was talking to the guy and he told me that SLP made the hood that came stock on the Camaro SS. Maybe its the same company, the way they write SLP seems to be the same check http://www.slppowerproducts.com. SLPonline could be the American side.

wow...that's weird...i guess canada covers imports and america does muscle...hmm...i really wonder if they are linked...you'd think they'd have links to the other site on each one

I just checked cause I found it wierd that both use the same style of writing they are the same company check under the "retail distributors" on SLP Powerproducts it has SLP Performance parts adress and phone number.
