Eh, it's a fad that will be dead before you know it, and whoever buys one (without buying a GTI), will be several hundred dollars poorer just because of a dumb impulse purchase.

do they have the new GTI in 4 door version? if thats the case i think the ms3 loses in looks to the new GTI. I dont care for hatches, but the 4 door GTI looks beter than thems3 IMO

GTI in a 5-door (4-door hatch) is sacrilage - it's always been a 3-door, and always should be.

If they come out with a 5-door GTI, I will lose what little remaining respect I have for VW (sans their Audi division). Now, if they'd actually make the bastards in Germany they'd earn a little more respect.

i have bad news for you. check the automotive section, look at thepics. now cry. they have a 5 door GTI, but i dont know if they are bringing it to the NA market.
ALso, i am not sure but i thinkn that they use to have 5 door GTI (or was it just regular Golfs). Either way, the 5 door would be great because it would now become more functional and practical. I cant only have 2 doors, it just doesnt work for my lifestyle, but if it had 5 doors, now we are talking.

They had 5-door Golfs, that's nothing new.

The GTI was the "original"....if the 5-door GTI exists, it's all over...(sad1)
