The Plot

Well, its time to go finish that 4 year degree.. Time to move out of mom and dads house.

Ive got a house where my college is (USM). I will be living there with my bofriend and our best friend Rob..

Robs going to school for Massage therapy,

Justin is going to fly Helicopters.

Im getting a degree in Computer geekiness.

Im gonna keep this thread updated for the next few months. Becuase knowing me.... it should make for a pretty good story.

Good luck Kat! Make sure school is at least half as fun for you as it was for me. (That's still a lot of fun!)

By all means, lets get the story started with a few details.

Justin and i have been dating 3 years..
My mother is extremely Catholic and completely opposed to the whole idea of moving in with a boy before you are married. Somehow she's found the strength to be extremely supportive.

My father is a father and therefor doesn't like the idea.

Justin has more bills than any 22 year old should. so we are trying to figure out how to pay for helicopter school and bills.

Robby is pretty simple.. not a lot of bills but $350 per month to my parents for rent.

Im taking too many classes like I always do... and no one has thought about packing yet..

Right now im working on a 5 year plan, i already changed my major once.. I thought that i'd be some kind of scientist and save the rainforrest.. then i decided that it would be more logical to make a lot of money and buy it.

So the house you'll all be living in...is it owned by your parents?

That's cool that you'll be moving in together tho...I myself also just went from living on my own in an apartment to living with 2 roomies in a nice big house...I enjoy the freedom of a house more than the freedom of living alone.

I had a bunch of friends go through the Computer Science program down at Southern. In fact, two guys I work with now went there...

I went "house" route for the last two years of my college career at MSU and it was "interesting" to say the least. I had two male roomates, and we had to set all sorts of rules, mainly dealing with when a girlfriend was there... Make sure you and your roomates have a set way of showing each other that your gf/bf is over there also. I walked in on one of my roomates and his gf on the couch one night... It was hideous.. I may never recover from what I saw...

Is Justin planning on going into the military or flying commercial? (I know alot of folks from the 172nd over in Flowood if he needs a contact over there.) Anyways...

yes, my parents own the house. started packing last night... didn't get much done... decided to go out instead

Moving sucks...If it weren't for the fact that I didn't have a garage, I would never move from my present condo.

Packing is a royal pain, I usually end up playing with everything instead of packing...(Ooh, a 600 page book I haven't read in two years, this looks interesting...OOPS!)

But, being on a six year plan so far with school is interesting. I guess it doesn't help that I have one semester to go, and I have been off school for over a year now and more than enough credits to graduate.

Finishing school would be nice, so go finish it Kat, before you get distracted. And have fun pakcing. And if your boyfriend is good enough to you, your parents will eventually see that maybe it was a good idea after all to move in with him.

Then again, I might be wrong.

See, Ive been thinking.. Justin will get done with pilot school the same time that I get done at southern.. I was thinking if we work a couple years after that, then maybe I'll go back to school. I think I'd make a good surgeon.. Who knows.

Ok, So i've almost completed packing.. Friday is coming soon and I think Justin and Robby are just about ready to start getting things together and may even start packing soon. I got bedroom and living room furniture.

Mom and Dad are going to help us out Friday. Justin and Robby have to sleep at a friends house that night

ok, we are officically moved..

BAD NEWS, um, my processor popped out during the move and was reseated. unfortunately the computer will do absolutely nothing. Im at a friends now.

So this weekend played out like a comical Vaudeville act. I should have hired a court reporter to keep track of every humerous misfortune, bitching, running around and such.

i'd write it all down, but it'd be really long and no one would ever read it (judging from the fact that i never read long post, shame on me).
