The "I Still Have a Stock Mazdaspeed3 (or very close to it)" Thread

stock mica black. When life stops throwing economic right hooks at me I am thinking about the cobb intake.

Stock so long as you dont include the 2 amps and the sub in the back as MODs... only planned mod will be the CAI and that is if my dog stops causing us to spend and arm and a leg on her....

Stock here as well. Although, I have asked for shifter bushings, MM inserts, and CAI for Christmas. Should be a fun new year! All that would be left is COBB suspension, TBE, and EMS...oh and some Volk's!

edit: The wife really came through for Christmas with a CPE CAI! I also got Corksport MM inserts as well as TWM shifter bushings....Yeeeehaw!

Man, good to see some stockers out there. It's almost depressing to read all of the Turbo seal problems people have been having with exhaust and such. Hopefully by the time I plan on modifying all of these problems will have solutions.

U spelled my name wrong(rant)

Stock except for custom CAI and the epoxy ($4) mods that are posted in the How-To section...yeah, I'm cheap! (loser)

I would consider mine stock, then again I'm trying a new method of car ownership with my speed 3, and that is not to pour money into it hand over fist.

I've done three things:
1. K&N drop in. I'm not sure I even consider this a mod as all cars will eventually need an air filter changed.
2. Lower urethane motor mount.
3. Shifter base bushings.

All told, about $150 bucks worth of stuff.

I'm happy with the car and plan to leave it as is.

At least until the warantee wears out then I may reconsider.

Not stock since I bought a cargo net for the trunk. My groceries stay in place which helps reduce body roll thus putting more power to the wheels. (thumb)

Just to clarify, the burnt seals are not do to the exhaust systems.

'08 Sunlight silver MS3
CS inserts (a MUST have)
Rear compartment tray (I love this, keeps stuff from sliding around)
Rear bumper protectors

I plan to bend the shifter forward to better fit my long arms and add a shift light, maybe a scangauge.
